Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • golden turmeric powder
  • ½ cup organic maple syrup
  • ¼ cup applesauce
  • 1 egg replacer
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 ½ cups soaked cashews
  • ¾ cup water
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until dough forms.
  3. Press dough into a prepared 9×9 baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow blondies to cool completely.
  6. To make the frosting, combine all ingredients in a food processor until completely smooth. Spread creamy frosting over the blondies.
  7. Cut into 9 equal squares, take two for yourself and enjoy!
